"Thanksgiving Dressing"


 

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups diced celery
  • 1 ½ cups chopped onions
  • 5 cups chopped mushrooms [or chestnuts]
  • 8 cups toasted bread crumbs
  • 1 cup soy mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos
  • sage, thyme, and chicken-style seasoning

Steps

  • Sauté the celery, onions, and mushrooms in a little water.
  • In a large mixing bowl mix together the bread crumbs and soy mayonnaise.
  • Add the vegetables to the bread crumbs and mayonnaise.
  • In a separate container have the Bragg's and boiling water mixed together.
  • Mix all ingredients together until all is moist.
    You may need to add more liquid if needed.
  • Add sage, thyme, and chicken-style seasoning according to your taste.
  • This is now ready to be placed in a loaf pan OR shape into a turkey! Use your imagination.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Cover with foil.

You can baste with a mixture of oil, water and Bragg's.
