Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh, firm tofu
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 sweet red pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbs. chicken-style seasoning
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. fresh or dried parsley
- 2 Tbs. nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/8 tsp. turmeric
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- salt to taste
Steps
- Sauté onion and red pepper in a small amount of water.
- Drain tofu thoroughly in a colander or squeeze out excess water with hands.
- Crumble tofu into fine pieces into the skillet.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer until liquid is evaporated and flavors are blended.
