"Quinoa"


 

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups quinoa
  • 1 cup diced green onions
  • ¼ cup diced red pepper
  • 2 tsp. natural soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. cumin2 tsp. basil
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tab. Chicken style seasoning
  • 2 Tab. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt

Steps

  • Into your saucepan place the water. Add all the rest of the ingredients.
    Stir well.
  • Let this come to a boil, then turn it down to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes.

*Hint: This ancient grain is a complete protein. We use this as the bed for our Veggie Kabobs.
