Ingredients
- 1 cup brown rice
- 4 – 5 cups water
- 1 tsp. salt
Steps
- Place rice, water, and salt in
a 9x13 baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake at
350 degrees for 1 hour.
HINT:
- For a nutty flavor toast, uncooked rice in a dry skillet 5 minutes or more, stirring constantly, until a few grains begin to “pop”.
- The rice will begin to give off a pleasant aroma.
- Remove immediately from skillet as it will burn very quickly!
- Proceed with cooking as usual.
