Ingredients
- 3 cups unbleached flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. non-aluminum baking powder
- ¾ cup carob powder
- ¾ cup soy margarine
- 2 cups Sucanat®*
- ¼ cup water
- 2 cups soy milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. Roma®*
- ½ tsp. maple flavoring
Steps
- Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and carob in one bowl.
- In separate bowl cream together the Sucanat® and soy margarine.
- Beat in the water.
- Alternately add milk and dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
- Mix thoroughly after each addition.
- Add vanilla, Roma®, and maple flavoring.
- Oil and flour a 9”x 13” cake pan. Pour in Batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes
out clean.
