Ingredients
- 2 cups garbanzo beans [drained and rinsed]
- 3 Tbs. chicken-style seasoning
- 2 Tbs. Bragg’s Liquid Amino® [soy sauce]
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 2 cups gluten flour
Steps
- Place garbanzo beans in a blender and add enough water to cover them.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the chicken-style seasoning, Bragg’s®, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Blend well.
- Pour liquid in bowl, adding 1 cup of gluten flour at a time, working the flour in well.
- Form into a loaf, and put into an oiled bread pan and cover with foil.
- Place loaf pan in shallow pan of water and place in oven.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. When cool, put through food processor set on grate.
- Can be frozen at this stage.
- Add soy mayonnaise, celery, olives, etc. Tastes so good you won’t miss the chicken!
